The flash dump is the raw data stored in the TV's memory chip (typically an SPI Flash like a 25Qxx series). Technicians use this file with a hardware programmer to "re-flash" a corrupted chip.
: Place the firmware file (often named MstarUpgrade.bin or similar) into the root directory —do not put it in a folder. Initiate Update : Unplug the TV from the power outlet. Insert the USB drive into the TV's USB port.
The service menu allows you to perform factory resets or adjust advanced panel settings. Access it by pressing on the remote followed by one of these sequences: 1147 (Most common for Haier) 8202 8893 4578
⚠️ Changing settings in the service menu or flashing incorrect firmware can permanently damage (brick) your TV. Always back up your original dump if using a programmer.
