Fantasy Strike is a competitive 2D fighting game designed by David Sirlin (lead designer of Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix ) to be "mechanically accessible though strategically difficult". Unlike traditional fighting games that require complex joystick rotations, every move in Fantasy Strike is mapped to a single button press, allowing players to focus on strategy and "mind games" rather than execution.

Fantasy Strike adopted a robust free-to-play model in July 2020, offering more immediate content than many of its competitors.
