Five reserve/rookie drivers took part in this session to fulfill FIA requirements: Liam Lawson (AlphaTauri), Logan Sargeant (Williams), Nyck de Vries (Mercedes), Jack Doohan (Alpine), and Pietro Fittipaldi (Haas).

The session was interrupted twice. First, when Pietro Fittipaldi (Haas) stopped on track due to a power unit failure, and later when Liam Lawson (AlphaTauri) suffered an engine issue in the final minutes, preventing a restart. Five reserve/rookie drivers took part in this session
