Krull Review

Despite an ambitious budget of roughly $27 million, the film was a box office disappointment, grossing only $16.9 million. Critics at the time found it derivative of Star Wars and noted its "rambling" plot, though many praised its stunts and practical effects.

Over decades, Krull has earned a cult following for its imaginative world-building, James Horner’s orchestral score, and its blend of medieval fantasy with alien technology. The Athlete: Lucas Krull Lucas Krull talks about his journey to the NFL Draft

The film's most iconic element is the Glaive, a magical, five-bladed throwing weapon used by Colwyn.

Krull is a high-concept science fiction fantasy adventure directed by Peter Yates. It follows Prince Colwyn (played by Ken Marshall) as he forms a fellowship of bandits and fighters to rescue his bride, Princess Lyssa, from a shapeshifting alien known as "The Beast".
