Note Block Guide May 2026

A major struggle with Note Blocks is timing. This guide adds a "Timeline" view when using a or Tuning Fork :

You can bulk-change instruments or shift the entire song's key up or down one octave with a single click.

When holding a specific item (like a ), you can "set" a desired note in the block's settings. If the block isn't tuned correctly, it glows faintly red. Note Block Guide

It keeps the "vanilla" feel of building with blocks but removes the tediousness of memorizing 24 different click-pitches or accidentally breaking a song by misclicking.

This allows you to see a list of all nearby Note Blocks and their current settings.

Once you click it to the correct pitch, it flashes green and "locks," preventing accidental changes while you're building the rest of your circuit. If the block isn't tuned correctly, it glows faintly red

The note bubble changes color based on the pitch (mimicking the particle effects but clearly labeled).
