The story of the DLC is also one of digital fragility. While it successfully brought the Revert back to the fans, the entire THPS HD project eventually faced licensing hurdles. In 2017, the game and its DLC were delisted from the Xbox store. Today, that DLC exists primarily as a digital ghost on the hard drives of those who were there when the clock hit zero.
The Revert Pack DLC was designed to be the bridge. For $5 (400 Microsoft Points), it promised to inject the mechanical DNA of THPS3 into the HD remake.
