VFX files are rarely backward compatible. Opening a project made in a newer version of the software in an older version will usually result in a crash or a blank scene.

Look for a .uproject file. Right-click it and select "Generate Visual Studio project files" if it fails to open, or simply double-click to launch the editor. VFX_Project2.zip
